The purpose of the South Forest Area Council is to provide a unified point of communication and representation between the residential students of South Campus and Residence Life & Housing. Representatives will be able to advocate on behalf of South Campus residents, provide means for improvements on South Campus, promote and present educational and social programs, and recognize students living on South Campus.

The Executive Board consists of 10 students elected from the total South Campus population living in Babcock, Bostwick, Collins, Johnson, Luter, and South Halls. Positions on the E-Board include President, Vice President, Administrative Coordinator, Public Relations Chair, and 1 Hall Representative per residential building (6 total).
